'A Monthly Devotional from Amy'
Do you have days where you
on doing something, calling someone, or completing a task? I sure do, and one of my worst failed intentions is growing my faith daily. I have realized growth in my soul requires a commitment to grow.
I must want to grow, decide to grow, and make an effort to grow. The Bible says in Philippians 2:12-13 “Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.”
Notice that it says “work out” — not “work on” — your salvation. There is nothing you can do to save yourself spiritually; Christ took care of that by his life, death, and Resurrection.
The best thing is that God has a part in our growth — but so do we. We must make an
effort to grow.
To live intentional, you must want to, decide to, and make an effort. I CAN do that…
Keep your personal faith first.
Be BLESSED in all you do and say.
