Norling appointed dean at CMC Steamboat Springs
Jonathan “JC” Norling has been appointed as the vice president and campus dean of CMC Steamboat Springs.
Norling has been providing interim campus leadership at the Steamboat Springs campus following the retirement of former campus vice president, Kathy Kiser-Miller last September. Prior to that, he had been the associate dean of academic affairs and has also held leadership roles at the CMC Edwards Campus.
“Sometimes you don’t have to look far to find the right candidate,” explained Dr. Carrie Besnette Hauser, CMC president and CEO.

Sopris Theatre Company at CMC’s virtual performance of "The Nina Variations"
Written by Colorado native Steven Dietz, "The Nina Variations" pays homage to Chekhov’s classic, “The Seagull,” while taking aim at modern misunderstandings of romantic love. In 43 variations of the final scene, Chekhov’s star-crossed lovers, Nina and Treplev, rehash what went wrong in their relationship and explore how they might have prevented it.

Colorado Mountain College will host its fifth sustainability conference, presented by the Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Studies program
Renowned photographer, filmmaker and writer Pete McBride will provide the keynote address, discussing his perspectives on environmental and social stewardship.
