ALL EAGLE SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECIEVED FRIDAY AT 8:00 A.M.
August 26, 2019
As part of our safety plan, please have your pick-up tags displayed for our staff to see while waiting in the carpool line. We would also like to remind you that crosswalks need to remain clear of vehicles at all times, especially during drop-off and pick-up. Please know that cars should not be turning until pedestrians have stepped onto the sidewalk on the other side. It is also important that we are courteous to our neighbors and do not block their driveways. And finally, it is vitally important that there are no cell phones being used during carpool.

Each classroom will be paired with another classroom, and together they will work alongside one another to complete various team-building challenges.
Fly Like an Eagle Day is a FREE DRESS DAY! Athletic attire is highly recommended. Please remember the school dress code still applies.
CCA's PTO will graciously provide lunch for the entire school. Cheese pizza, carrots and ranch, and an allergy-friendly dessert will be available for the students during their regular lunch time. No other lunch options will be available for purchase through Wholesome Foods/Mile High Catering, so please pack a lunch for your child if they choose not to eat pizza. An Important Reminder from Champions
All CCA families must be registered for Champions. Like the CCSD and Wholesome Food Services registrations, this must be done each year. Please ensure your child(ren) are registered. Champions will no longer accept students who are not registered. Please visit the Champions website today to ensure that your account is up to date.

The staff parking lot off of Dayton Street is the easiest way to access Champions. Please follow side walk along the school to the cafeteria doors where Champions is stationed. Champions will post a sign on the cafeteria doors when they are on the playground.
PTO is proud to announce their biggest fundraiser of the year! A pproximately 80% of PTO funds come from this event! It is with these funds that the PTO is able to bring the Cleo Parker Dance Assembly, the Dr. Arthur Benjamin Mathmagician Assembly, the annual carnival, Pastries for Parents, the multicultural festival, and more awesome activities to the CCA community free of charge.

Packets will be sent out this week and each child is eligible to win different prizes based on the amount of items sold. Keep an eye out for the prize banner that has tags they can bring to school and drop off at the front desk as they sell items. Tags will be picked up every Wednesday, and one lucky winner will win a free dress day coupon. Key chains characters (similar to the Coops) will also be handed out each  Friday at lunch time

This year, the class that sells the most will win a pizza party, free dress day, and medals. The class who earns the second most will win a recess treat!

NEW THIS YEAR: Packets will come home with an opt out form ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B22YcBPDwqC7LTczNlYtX2pYNnhtYXlLS3pHOHdJTnF1QW9r/view?usp=sharing ) where you can choose to donate directly to our PTO. If you choose to donate directly lieu of the fundraiser, your child will receive their keychain prize on September 20, 2019. The opt-out donation will also count toward your child's classroom total.

All forms will need to be returned to the school by September 13, 2019 , and the winning classes will be announced September 20, 2019.
