"BE YOURSELF. TRY YOUR BEST. NEVER BE AFRAID TO DREAM."
-SHARON CHRISTA MCAULIFFE
Dear McAuliffe Parents and Families,

We are so excited for our annual presentation to the Los Alamitos Unified School District Board of Education. Every year, each school has the opportunity to present one time to the School Board about academics, athletics, activities, and the arts at McAuliffe Middle School.

Our presentation for this year is on Tuesday, October 29th at 6:30pm.

This is an exciting night for McAuliffe! We hope you can come out and support our school! The Board Meeting begins at 6:30 and will open with our students performing a patriotic song. The McAuliffe presentation will be a part of other recognitions of teachers and our community. There will be a recess between 7:15 and 7:30 and an opportunity to take pictures at that time.

NEW Visitor Management System to Help Ensure Student Safety!
Los Alamitos Unified School District is pleased to announce that we will begin using the Raptor Visitor Management System in all of our schools to strengthen our program of campus safety for students and staff. Part of keeping students and faculty safe is knowing who is in our buildings at all times, and the Raptor system will allow us to do that. The Raptor system will better allow us to screen visitors and volunteers in our schools and provide us with a safer environment for our students and staff.
