The Talent Show is back! Calling Grades 3-6:

Time to sign up!

We are very excited to be bringing back the Talent Show! This is a fun show where students get to showcase their talents on stage during the all-school community meeting on March 29 from 9:30am -10:30am. In the past we’ve had singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, gymnastics, acting, magic tricks, and more! Can be a solo act or done as a group with friends. If part of a group, only one form entry is required. Here is the sign up link: https://forms.gle/zcExfH2HMXpnBHME6

Here are the rules for the show:

1. Talents must be school appropriate.

2. Performances must be safe.

3. Performances need to be limited to 2 minutes.

4. Dances must be choreographed, not improvised.

5. Singing must be live; no lip-syncs, and singers must provide their own accompaniment music without the lyrics.

6. In some cases, Mr. Broggi may be able to accompany performances on the piano or guitar.  Please ask well in advance.

7. Sign-ups for the show are due by March 15. No late entries will be accepted.

(The Talent Show for grades K-2 will be held in May and a separate sign up will be provided.)

Save the date to come watch!

Date: Wednesday, March 29

Time: 9:30am -10:30am

Location: Douglas School Cafeteria

Stay Tuned: Douglas Principal Candidate

Evening Zoom Forum

The District is working to coordinate Principal finalist visit schedules for Douglas and will send information about family forums to each school community shortly - could be as early as this week! We hope as many families can attend this important community opportunity.

These forums provide an opportunity for families to meet the Douglas finalists. Prior to each forum, we will provide families at the school with copies of each candidate's resume as well as the zoom link for the meeting. Following the forums, families will be sent a survey to provide feedback which will help inform Peter Light’s final decisions around candidates to appoint.  Peter hopes to announce the Principals for each school prior to February Vacation.
