Our Douglas students are competing to be a SUPER Reader with their photo in a Super Hero cutout displayed in the lobby! The school’s total minutes will be counted to reach our school wide goal! Read Across America! Room Parents are looking for community volunteers (parent/caregiver/sibling, extended family, friend, etc.) to visit their student’s classroom and read a book to the class related to our theme The SUPER Power of Reading! We’re excited to bring back the beloved Douglas Post Office with the 6th graders running it :) Mail can be sent both within the school and through USPS! If you (or your kids) want to send mail within the school, there is a mailbox up on the third floor of the school that you (or they) can drop mail in. It's the big blue mailbox from the old building and it's at the top of the main staircase by the elevators. Just make sure it has the name of the person who should receive the mail (student or teacher) and also the room number.

If you (or friends, grandparents, etc.) want to send mail through USPS, just include the student's name and room number (or teacher name) and the Douglas mailing address:
