Our photographer this year is Coffee Pond Photography. All photos will be taken outdoors to allow for a natural background. All students receive a complimentary copy of their class photo, and parents optionally can purchase packages of individual photos. More information to follow. Confidential financial assistance is available for photo packages; please contact Mrs. Sullivan or Mrs. Bonnell directly.

Walk for Peace: Wednesday September 21st

The annual Douglas Walk for Peace is scheduled for Wednesday, September 21st. C.T. Douglas is making a concerted effort to go paperless this year! Join us for the first 2022-2023 PTO Meeting:

Would involve organizing a few food trucks, communication efforts, etc…a light lift but BIG impact :) To volunteer, CLICK HERE, check off the “Community Building” radio button and indicate in the comments field “Douglas Fall Picnic and/or Lead Interest.”

Trunk or Treat:

Saturday October 29th @3pm-5pm

It's Time for the Douglas Directory!

It's Time for the Douglas Directory!

The Douglas Directory provides valuable school and community information including class lists and family contact info. This year we are bringing back the list of 6th graders willing to provide babysitting services!

The directory will be available digitally to all members of our community with password-protected access through PowerSchool. For those who prefer the traditional printed and bound copy of the directory, you may still purchase copies for $6.00 each on the PTO website. There will be NO paper order form sent home for directories this year, so please use this link to purchase copies and/or update your contact information.

Even if you do not plan to purchase a printed copy, please take the time to confirm the email address(es) you would like printed in the directory, let us know if your 6th grade student is interested in being a babysitting contact, and if there are any special instructions about how you would like your family's information to be included. As a note, if you chose to “opt out” of the directory when you updated your preferences in PowerSchool, none of your family’s information will be included in this year’s directory. Changes can not be made once the directory has been finalized for printing. Contact Ashley Cook (arwcook@gmail.com) with any directory updates or questions.

The deadline for updating your information and/or purchasing printed copies of the Directory is FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23rd.

How can we help the teachers?

Help make their wishes come true!

Looking for ways to support our teachers this year? We have put together an updated Amazon Wish List that includes various items our teachers have wished for. If you would like to help make some of the wishes come true and support our teachers and students, please pick an item or two from the list to donate. The items will be shipped directly to the coordinator, who will then organize, label, and deliver them safely to the school. The list will remain active throughout the school year and we will continue to add new items as more wishes come in. There are wishes small and large, and you can also purchase gift cards in any amount that will be put toward purchasing additional items.

Check out our Wish Upon a Star wish list here.

For questions, please contact Emmy Whitney at emmywhitney@yahoo.com or 617-633-1862. Thank you!
