A Message from Champions: After School Care
Hello Cherry Creek Academy Families,

I could not be happier to announce that we will be opening for after school scheduled care only for the fall 2020! I’ve really missed our active community—especially seeing the children’s smiling faces in the site every day.

You might be eager to hear what we’re doing about health and safety at our open locations.

To give you peace of mind, I want you to know that your child’s safety at Champions is my top priority—now and forever. As we reopen our sites, all staff completes extensive training on extra health and safety practices we’ve developed to set a new standard in childcare. We’ll continue taking precautions that we always take (like washing hands frequently and rotating and sanitizing equipment), plus a few extra precautions that are new to all of us (like staff wearing masks, students answering health questions at check-in, restricting access to the site and more). We will also be ensuring that we have stable groups, same children with same teacher.

Watch this virtual tour to see our updated health and safety practices in action!

To support health and safety guidelines, we have made the following changes to our program offerings. We will be offering after school scheduled care ONLY and space is limited. We will no longer be able to accept drop in
students. Students will be accepted based on the schedule that the sponsor selects each week.

Register your child at www.discoverchampions.com and pick your schedule before spots fill up.

Of course, if there is anything on your mind about coming back, if you have questions about our program, or you’d just like to update me on how the coronavirus crisis has impacted you or your family, please reach out. That’s what I’m here for.

Laney Cleveland,

School Supply Lists
Our teachers have worked hard updating our school supply lists to best prepare our students for successful in-person learning in the fall. You will notice a few important additions including art supplies that will make it possible for each student to have individual supplies. We have eliminated P.E. uniforms for this year and students will not be required to change out for gym class.

School supply lists can be accessed here, on our homepage, and on our mobile app.

Please note we will not be having a school supply fundraiser this year and school supplies cannot be shipped to CCA. All fundraising was stopped in the spring of 2020.  This year we also want parents to purchase school supplies and label all school supplies for their child so that your child’s name is on everything.  We will not have a lost and found.  Supplies will not be shared in any classroom this year
