A Message from Dr. Schultz
Dear CCA Community,

CCA Leadership is working closely with CCSD leaders, the Colorado League of Charter Schools, the Colorado Department of Education and health experts to develop our plans to return to 100% face-to-face instruction in the fall based on their latest recommendations. The health and safety of our CCA community remains a top priority as we develop our reopening plans that will comply with State and local health requirements.

We want your children to be here in-person at CCA. We know that our children need to interact with their teachers and their friends.  We know that a part of the quality, rigorous education that we offer at CCA occurs here within our building. Please know that we will do all that we can to ensure that our work is focused on helping your children learn and grow in the best way possible.  Because of our focused mission, CCA will not be offering a full time online or full time virtual CCA school option.

The Cherry Creek School District will be offering online learning for all students. If you would like to permanently withdraw from CCA and enroll in the CCSD online option , we respect and honor your decision. Please complete CCSDs online Parent Forms at in addition to our Learning Plan Options Survey so that both CCSD and CCA can make accommodations for your child(ren)’s 2020-2021 school year. We ask that you please complete these forms as soon as possible, no later than July 13, 2020. If you have any questions, please contact our registrar, Caitlin Leins at
That will allow both CCA and CCSD to plan appropriately for your children.   Cherry Creek Academy is a waitlist school, which means that your child will need to be placed back on our waitlist to be offered a spot in the future.
In the event that CCA closes for a short amount of time during an outbreak, or for any health reasons, please know that we will continue to offer online coursework as we did during the 4th quarter and the spring of 2020. If we have to close at any time, your children will still have their chromebooks and your children’s teachers will transition to online learning in a more effective and efficient way than we did this past spring. We are continually learning and growing and improving our ability to service your children.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel to contact me at or on my cell phone at 920-216-9111 at any time.
