  5. Alternatively, you can join by phone by dialing the meeting number and entering the meeting pin.

Teacher Appreciation Week: May 4 - 8, 2020
Our awesome room parents have organized the following Teacher Appreciation Week, which will be different than CCA has done in the past. For more details, please see the below information. If you have any questions, please contact the room parent listed in the links below or Sara Castro, at  .

With the school closure, our teachers are working harder than ever to educate our kids.  For more information about how you can show your appreciation, please click on your teacher’s name or group.  
PLEASE NOTE: all suggestions are completely optional and voluntary.

If you have more than one student and plan to contribute to class gifts, please do so for each student separately.

2019-2020 Board Election
We have had 4 well-qualified candidates apply for the 3 open seats on the CCA Board. Therefore, Cherry Creek Academy will  hold an election for our community to select the new Board members. This open election will commence on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at 8:00 am, through Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at 3:00 pm. The Election will be held by electronic ballot. A unique and confidential electronic ballot will be sent to the email address listed in PowerSchool for each parent/guardian.

Cherry Creek Academy will host a virtual Meet the Candidates Night on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Our community is invited to attend this event and will have the opportunity to ask our Board Candidates questions. More information on how to attend the Meet the Candidates night will be available soon.

SAC Survey Update
CCA’s School Accountability Committee (SAC) appreciates all parents who participated in the 2019-20 CCA Climate Survey. We had 355 responses to this year's survey. The data has been provided to the Parent Board, Administrative Leadership Team, PTO and Foundation to review for applicable follow-up actions. If you are interested in reviewing the written comments from the survey, please contact Chelsea Anderson . Please remember that we must comply with FERPA and CORA confidentiality laws and therefore, names and positions have been removed and replaced with bracketed placeholders. For a review of SAC Survey Procedures , please see the CCA Website under SAC . You may also contact the SAC chair Bill Baumgartner or the Board Members assigned to SAC, Andrea Evashevski and Alison Reynolds , with any questions. A summary of the data will be shared at the May 12th Town Hall – please mark your calendar to join us to hear about the data as well as other school updates.
Our students did outstanding at the Noetic Competition that was held online. We have 4 students in the National Honor Roll .These students are in the top 10% of students and will receive National Honor Roll Medals, web recognition, and certificates.

Online Summer Math Camps
Mrs Priya and Mr. Loomis are excited to announce CCA's Summer Math Camps this year. We will have two ONLINE tutoring sessions in July.

The sessions will be instructed by Mr.Loomis and Mrs. Priya.The tutoring sessions will be geared towards preparing our students for the next academic year. Topics covered will be based on Saxon Math curriculum.

The first session will be from July 8- July 10 

The second session will be from July 22nd - July 24th.

There are spots for BOTH session in the specific grade-level SignUps.

You only have to sign up for one day per session (either the 8th or the 22nd) and you will be enrolled for all the 3 days.

Each session will be for one hour for each of the three days.The fee will be $120 for each 3-day session per student.

This is the initial registration form to express your interest in these tutoring sessions. Once you sign up Mrs. Priya and Mr. Loomis will be sending out additional information regarding payment and specific details in the next few weeks.
Wholesome Foods Refund: Available Now
Due to the Covid-19 school closure, you may have remaining funds in your Wholesome Food Services balance. Please request a refund by emailing . CCA will not be utilizing Wholesome Food Services for the 2020-2021 school year so remaining lunch balances cannot be carried over to next school year .

Community News & Resources
Free Meals from CCSD
CCA students are invited to receive breakfast and lunch distributions. C CSD will provide free grab-and-go breakfast and lunch meals to kids 18 and younger, including our CCA students.

S tudents will receive meals for Monday and Tuesday on Monday, for Wednesday and Thursday on Wednesday, and for Friday on Friday.

Young Voices of Colorado
During this time of online learning, Young Voices of Colorado is continuing to inspire kids and boost their knowledge through Zoom classes, solo lessons, group chats and other musical enrichment.

Young voices of Colorado has increased their budget for scholarships to include every interested and musical singer whose parents are willing to make a commitment to their child’s music education and our program. For more information please click here .
