 CCLA Spotlight:
Thank A Million Teachers!

Happy New Year, Eagles!

Welcome Back! I hope everyone had a restful break and is ready for a great second half of our academic year.

I hope you and your family enjoyed the Tournament of Roses Parade on 2014 and saw Natalie Delpino, Luis Moreno, and Gio Valle on the Farmers Insurance Float. They also joined actor, producer, musician, and comedian Jack Black in a press conference to kick off the Thank A Million Teachers campaign.

I'd like to encourage the entire CCLA Community to join in the this campaign - http://www.thankamillionteachers.com/

Thank A Million Teachers is a chance for us to publicly recognize the hardworking individuals both on our campus and campuses nationwide for the difference they make.

In addition to the well-deserved gratitude and recognition, nominating teachers makes them eligible to apply for grants for $2,500, which can be used to help them buy classroom supplies and other learning materials.

Be you a student, parent, community partner, or one of our own CCLA educators, I sincerely hope that you'll take a moment to start the year off right by thanking a teacher who impacted your life.

Welcome Back,

 Jennie, CCLA's Community School Coordinator

Building B, Room 104
