Earlier this year, our Health Ministry hosted an Advanced Care Planning Conference, where attendees learned how to prepare for discussing and sharing which medical care and treatments are desires in one's medical future.

Experts presented the ethical, pastoral, legal and clinical aspects of planning for their medical future.

Develops and executes programs, groups and events to meet parish needs as it relates to Adult Faith Formation.

Conducts adult education “needs assessments” and program evaluations in the parish.

Formulates goals, objectives and strategies addressing parish needs for adults.

Stays informed of new initiatives in the greater Church.
+
Develops and collaborates with staff and support persons to utilize social media and contemporary means of communications to promote adult faith formation opportunities.

Jesus promises his disciples that the Father will send
the Advocate, the Holy Spirit.





BEHIND THE READINGS

Jesus promises to send an Advocate or intercessor who will remind the disciples of everything that Jesus taught them and bring them peace. Jesus is preparing his disciples in advance for his absence so that they will continue to believe in him and not feel all alone after his return to the Father.
