Candy Corn Controversy

From a business perspective, Halloween is certainly a profitable holiday in the United States. In fact, an article in Retail Wire reports that consumers will spend upwards of $11.6 billion on costumes, decorations, and candy during the 2024 season leading up to October 31.

As adults, we are all well aware that the sugar in Halloween candy is not the best for our health. However, many adults still look forward to eating at least a few pieces of their favorites during the season.

Candy preferences often follow us from Halloween memories of our childhood and remain firmly in place as adults. Whether your preference is chocolate, sour candies, lollipops, or gummies, Halloween offers a wide array of options. The most controversial candy that only comes around during the season is candy corn. Are you in camp candy corn, or do you avoid it all together?

Join us for the quick member survey below to make your preference known. Happy Halloween!
