The Big Idea

Your Week Ahead

With the month of May in the rearview mirror, the focus shifts to June and the weeks of summer ahead. The first week of the month offers a variety of options to engage and maximize your membership investment.

Whether it's a grand opening or a new expansion, ribbon cutting events showcase the positive growth of the Daytona Regional Chamber business community. Ribbon cutting ceremonies will be held June 4 for Just Peachy Clean and June 5 for Dick's Last Resort. Consider joining Chamber Ambassadors as we support and celebrate these businesses.

June 6 is a full "Chamber Day" with three outstanding events: Eggs & Issues, Live Local Act Update, and the Chamber Alliance Mega Mixer. Register to attend one, two, or all three events to start the month with important information and amazing networking opportunities.

The mission of the Daytona Regional Chamber is to foster a strong economic and business environment and to serve as a platform through which our members and the entire business community can thrive. The upcoming programs and events mentioned are just a few examples of our mission in action. We look forward to seeing each of you at an event this week.

Pedestrian access to the beach and businesses will be available via the northern sidewalk, and portable toilets will be provided through project completion.

Community feedback has been an integral part of this endeavor with input offered regarding additional parking needs, upgraded landscaping, bike racks, and newer facilities.

The project is a collaborative effort between the City of Daytona Beach and the Florida Department of Transportation. The anticipated completion date is Spring of 2025. Remember to support the businesses located along the ramp during this time.

A Private Place to Conduct Business

"I recently had the opportunity to utilize space in the new Daytona Regional Chamber offices to conduct a virtual meeting. I had meetings back-to-back, and it was so convenient for me to transition from the Leadership Daytona Alumni Council meeting to my other virtual meeting. It saved me travel time back to the office that would have required missing part of the LDAC meeting by having to leave early. The room offered by the Daytona Regional Chamber was comfortable and quiet. I loved the fact that I could close the door and have the meeting in privacy.

We are lucky to have an organization as innovative as the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce!"
