November is the beginning of the busy holiday season that is filled with a mix of family and work priorities. The month of November at the Daytona Regional Chamber will also be a busy one with a variety of ways to get engaged. Check out the Plan Your November section below to set your calendars.


If you are heading to the polls November 5, don't forget to refer to the Voter's Guide before you make your final choices. Exercise your right and privilege to vote.


Volunteers are needed for this year's Soft Skills Youth Summit that will be held November 12. The next generation of our workforce needs your expertise. Consider giving your time to help mentor during the Summit. You will be glad that you did!


November's Eggs & Issues will feature a moderated conversation with Volusia County Manager, George Recktenwald. Join us November 14 for a great breakfast, networking, and an informative presentation presented by Halifax Health and Lifestyle Realty Group.


Many businesses and individuals in our community are suffering financially as result of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The Resources to Share section below includes information about disaster unemployment assistance and small business grants.

4th Annual Soft Skills Youth Summit: November 12

VOUNTEERS NEEDED! We've heard from many of you about the lack of soft skills in the workforce. Here's your chance to share your experience and help change that. Volunteer as a business leader at the Soft Skills Youth Summit and share your expertise in Communication, Leadership, Time Management & Organization, or Punctuality & Work Ethic. By investing a little of your time, you could change the lives of 150 Volusia County Schools high school juniors and seniors. For more info, contact Ken Phelps.

One Table Community Dinner: November 19

Imagine one long dining table with amazing food, awesome company, and fellowship under the stars. BRIDGEx: BANK Code: November 20

BANK Code for Business, presented by Wells Fargo, will be the final BRIDGEx session of 2024. Teresa Rand, Rand Consulting, will lead an exciting session where attendees will discover how to maximize what they learn through a short 90-second assessment called BANK that shows your personality and how to quickly identify others' personalities. This concept may be used to personalize sales techniques, emails, and marketing messages to your clients based on how and why they buy.
