Firm Updates Happy birthday, Ben! Our founder turned 50 on Dec. 22! And how does an elder law attorney celebrate half a century? By competing in an extreme triathlon, of course.

Where in the World Is Ben? Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018 – Chile – It began with a dive off a perfectly good ferry into the pure and frigid waters (53℉!) of the Aysén Fjord. A 2.4-mile swim followed by 112 hilly and windy miles on a bike and a marathon trail run. All this just weeks before our founder, Ben Neiburger, turned 50 years old. He was one of only 300 competitors taking part in what may be the world’s most intense and beautiful triathlon, the Patagonman XTRI. In the end, all the months of training paid off – Ben finished this insane course and his first Ironman distance triathlon in just 16 (!) hours. We’ve been following him from race to race all year, all in preparation and anticipation for this moment. For Ben, it’s been a lifetime. What will our adventurous attorney tackle next?
