Happy 11.11! Yesterday was a big day as you can read below. This is a newsletter I sent to my biz list - tying together the newsletters I send out and getting closer to an activist goal. There's lots more to talk about - the US election results this past week were pretty incredible. Gaza. Climate change not being gone though it's Fall and is rainy and "normal" in Oregon. But for now, I'm going to leave you with all of the below and call it an Eleven!

About 7 years ago I joined forces with Michael Hall (pictured above) and we and a few others started Quiet Clean PDX. Today, we got an indication that we may finally be reaching our goal of banning gas-powered leaf blowers (and other gas-powered tools, too) in Portland soon.

One of the big drivers of this effort was growing our email list which just flew past the 2,000 subscriber mark today. If you'd like to join that list, click here.

I've shared with you how to create birthday emails, automated series and so much more over the years - but I haven't really talked all that much about how you can use email to change things.

The holidays are coming up. Here are some holiday marketing ideas for you to consider. Also, there are some big changes in how emails are being sent - especially regarding the big players such as Gmail, Yahoo, MSN, etc. Everyone who uses an email service provider needs to learn about these changes.
