Update on the Parish Administrator position

We received news on Thursday that our newly hired parish administrator resigned after just three days. She reports that the resignation is due primarily to significant family health issues.

We will keep you updated as we begin a new search to fill the position. In the meantime, please be patient and pray that we find someone soon.

All children and youth are invited to bring their backpacks or schoolbags to church on Sunday, September 7th for our Annual Blessing of the Backpacks during the 10:00 AM service. We’ll offer a special prayer for students, teachers, and school staff as they begin a new school year.

Invite your friends to join us for this joyful tradition—everyone is welcome!

Sunday School registration will take place immediately following the service in the Parish Hall.

Let’s start the school year with God’s blessing and the love of our church community! 🎒📚🙏

ECW - Episcopal Church Women

All women who attend Christ Church are considered members of the ECW. Since 1871, the National Episcopal Church Women, ECW, have championed women’s rights and the Christian foundation of God and family. They are a ministry of the Episcopal Church and celebrate that Episcopalians believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  ECW meetings will resume in October.

Brotherhood of St. Andrew

Join The Brotherhood of St. Andrew for prayer, study, and service. The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is an international ministry of men within the Anglican Communion with the commission of spreading Christ’s kingdom among men and youth. The Mission of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew has been bringing men and youth to Jesus Christ since its founding in 1883. The Brotherhood in fulfilling its mission does so by following the three key disciplines of prayer, study, and service. Please plan on attending the 6:30 pm Mid-week Mass before the meeting. The Brotherhood meetings will resume on September 18, 2025, at 7:00 pm.

Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries

Some special request items are:

  • Cold cereal
  • Mac & Cheese
  • Hearty Soups
  • Grape jelly
  • Pasta & Sauce
  • Powdered milk
