While the origins of Working Parents Day remain unclear, it is a much-needed holiday to appreciate the efforts of people who handle multiple responsibilities. In 2020, 33 million families had at least one child under age 18 living with them. Of those families, 88.5% had at least one working parent (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). If you are a working parent, please send your favorite picture of you and your kids to leahespinoza@cpp.edu to be celebrated on our social media platforms! | |
