While the origins of Working Parents Day remain unclear, it is a much-needed holiday to appreciate the efforts of people who handle multiple responsibilities. In 2020, 33 million families had at least one child under age 18 living with them. Of those families, 88.5% had at least one working parent (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). If you are a working parent, please send your favorite picture of you and your kids to leahespinoza@cpp.edu to be celebrated on our social media platforms!

Congratulations to Anahi Gamboa who is our new Administrative Specialist! Anahi's role is a shared position between Payroll and Student Affairs.

In Payroll, Anahi will be assisting with student employment. She will be responsible for processing student assistant hires in the PeopleSoft HCM database, as well as updating their personal and employment data.
