The Network in Action:
Air Support for an Air Force Veteran
Christopher is a post-9/11 Air Force veteran who was referred to The Network through a local community partner. Christopher was ill and needed assistance moving from his home in Maryland to a new modified home in Missouri that was conducive to his health situation. The local community partner, along with the local VA, had arranged air transportation for Christopher with the cost of the flight being covered by a national nonprofit. However, there were outstanding expenses related to fuel and land transport.

The 2020 Empower Veterans Campaign
Begins Today
Every year, veterans share with us what they need to feel engaged, supported, hopeful, and empowered. Those needs span from recreational activities, connections with other veterans, and opportunities to give back to support with housing, mental health care, and assistance with day-to-day financial responsibilities. America’s Warrior Partnership continues to connect veterans, their families, and their caregivers to resources that help them live the highest quality of life possible.

Help ensure that those resources are available when they’re needed by donating to the 2020 Empower Veterans Campaign between November 2, 2020 - December 31, 2020. Your contribution will help us sustain valuable programs and services that veterans throughout the country rely on to meet and address their evolving needs.

Give. Engage. Empower.
