It is with a heavy heart that we announce that
Preshana Yoga Studio is closing.
is a Sanskrit word loosely translated as
It is another word for our our innate wisdom that allows us to see clearly what is worth holding onto and what is asking to be let go. Just as a flower must close itself at night in order to receive the dawn sun more fully, a contraction or letting go is an integral part of life. It is a gift that we give ourselves to let go when the time is right so as to be more fully present with the natural rhythm of things.
It has become an obvious progression for the team at Preshana that it is time to let go of this space. The sustainability of a yoga studio is a delicate balance of business and service and while we have been so
grateful to be able to support the growth and dedication of all our students, the reality is that the financial arm is not supporting our intention.
We have loved seeing your faces so regularly in class and it has been a privilege to observe each of you deepen your commitment to and understanding of yoga.
The transition towards closing the space will take place over the next 30 days with our final class date being Saturday 9th April. A reduced timetable will operate until then and you can check that here
For everyone who has memberships and passes we will be cancelling all
memberships and passes and giving pro-rata refunds.
For our final month in the Darlinghurst studio and as a gift to all who have supported our journey over the years, we will be offering all our classes as seva (or service).
EVERY DAY - EVERY CLASS - NO CONDITIONS
Tell your friends and come along and enjoy the true spirit of yoga.
