My Favorite WhatsApp Thread

Have you ever been on one of those text threads that never stops? You don't answer your phone for a couple hours and suddenly you have 84 unread texts?! I admit I often wish I could remove myself from those threads, but definitely not this one!

I am so lucky to be a member of the Outside the Bowl (Fuera del Tazón) WhatsApp thread in Juarez, Mexico. It is non-stop thankfulness, blessings, encouragement and prayers from one pastor to another, plus endless photos and videos of joyful children enjoying OTB meals, learning God's Word and experiencing His love. These pastors constantly thank Pastor Elva as she oversees the OTB kitchen in Juarez, but they also constantly thank "those that make it possible." That's you! Every donor who has given to OTB is part of this incredible work in Juarez. Know that your donations are not only blessing children with meals, but also creating a community of pastors that build each other up as they share the common goal of feeding and discipling children, all for the glory of God.

Committed to the Children of Lesotho

Pastor Johan Meiring has been faithfully serving the people of Lesotho for 15 years. He is unwavering in his commitment to see these children fed and discipled. We rejoice that we can reward his commitment with our commitment.

Because of the overwhelming generosity of our donors at the October fundraiser, OTB has committed to send at least 8,000 VitaKidz meals every month to help Johan fulfill his dream to transform the lives of these children.

VitaKidz is often the only meal these children will have each day, so as you can see, they eagerly line up to receive it with joy and thankful hearts! Thank you for making this possible!
