The artsy and ambitious Si-Notes, has become known far beyond her hometown. When asked, "Which female holds it down for the city of Baltimore," the answer is hands down "Si-Notes''. She hails from the urban city of Brockton, Massachusetts, which is just South of Boston and Northeast of Providence, Rhode Island. As the oldest sibling of two, her nurturing nature shines when you are around her. Raised in Baltimore, City she experienced the harsh realities of city life early on. These obstacles and challenges would later aid in shaping her sound. The intertwine of city life and sex appeal illuminates from her lyrics.

In a recent episode of the Vibin with Veiga show we discussed the 8 simple habits that will help you to live a more joyful life:
The key to happiness is often found in small, overlooked moments. Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present, immersed in what you're doing right now and not being so lost in thoughts of the past or worries about the future.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more."-Jon Kabat-Zinn
We often cling to people and things in the pursuit of happiness. That clinging is what causes us pain and distress when things change or don't go as planned. Learning to let go of our attachments doesn't mean that we stop caring about people or things. It means that we love and appreciate without clinging. We learn to enjoy what we have without fearing it's loss.
- Cultivate self-compassion
Especially in the entertainment field, we can all be very harsh critics of ourselves. Practicing self-compassion is about acknowledging our imperfections without judgement, and understanding that everyone, including ourselves, is a work in progress.
- Live with Maximum Impact and Minimum Ego
Living with maximum impact is about making a positive difference in the world around you. It's about living authentically and in alignment with your values. We find a sense of purpose and fulfillment that transcends superficial happiness by letting go of our ego and focusing on how we can contribute positively to the world around us.
Life is unpredictable and often outside of our control. As part of the human experience, we all face disappointments and challenges. There's wisdom in acknowledging the reality of the present moment without resisting it or wishing it were different. True happiness comes from accepting our present circumstances and finding peace within them. Find peace in the midst of chaos.
- Practice compassion towards others
Compassion is about treating others with kindness and understanding, even when they're difficult or challenging. Showing compassion towards others is a selfless act, but a powerful source of happiness. When you see the positive impact that we can have on other's lives, it brings a deep sense of fulfillment and joy to ours.
Especially in the corporate and entertainment field, we are conditioned to equate busyness with productivity. Stillness is about taking a pause from our constant doing and allowing ourselves to simply exist in the moment. By embracing stillness we give ourselves the gift of presence, which allows us to truly appreciate the beauty of life.
Happiness is a journey, not a destination. You can navigate your journey with more grace and joy, by cultivating these habits and principles. Thank you for Vibin with Veiga.

Rejection is just redirection
I recently read a book that said "Rejection is just redirection." How inspiring! I had a mentor tell me once, that when someone tells you "no, they aren't rejecting you. It's not personal. A no means not now."
What isn't working is guiding you into what is. Do not force anything. What is for you, will always be for you. I live my life by this. I use to carry so much stress and energy with me. Running behind artist and getting all these showcases and open mics produced. Life is still life-ing over here but the way I react to it - PRICELESS!! You'll always return to who you really are, so be genuine from the start.
