|
|
Fr Stephen Carlsen will be on the job starting May 1st and leading services on May 5th. Following the 9:30 service, you can welcome Fr. Steve and his wife Jen at a meet and greet in the parish hall. Expected to be with us for at least a year,
Steve will help St. Paul's envision our future and prepare for calling a new Rector.
Steve grew up in the Midwest, was ordained in the Diocese of Chicago and served in Colorado and most recently as the Dean of Christ Church Cathedral, Indianapolis. A self-proclaimed bicycle geek, on his sabbatical several years ago, he and Jen went on a six-month bike tour through South America and Mexico. Both look forward to further adventures in Key West!

Spotlight on Hospitality
The hospitality Committee takes care of the food and beverages for St. Paul's socials like the Easter brunch and Fantasy Fest food stand. A subset, the coffee hour hosts put out a spread each Sunday following the 9:30 service. Thanks to all the volunteers who make this hospitality possible: Mary Taylor, Irene Eyer, MaryCarlin Porter, Mary Peterson, John & Caroline Sangston, Barbara Neagley, Wynn & Isabel Steinkamp, and The Vestry. The coffee hour will continue this summer, but with snowbird volunteers going/gone there's only the vestry and the Steinkamps. So, won't you step up to the "plate" and the "coffee cup"! Volunteer
