Adult Learning - New Series Begins Jan. 15
On Wednesday, January 15, at 7:00 pm we will begin a new six-week series on the parables of Jesus. The study is based on the book  Short Stories by Jesus: The Enigmatic Parables of a Controversial Rabbi , written by Amy-Jill Levine. Dr. Levine will be featured in a video presentation each week, which will begin our discussions. Come and find out how these parables speak to, challenge, and provoke us today.
FreeStore
HTLC is collecting towel sets for the FreeStore. You can place towels in the collection bin across from the Red Wall.
The FreeStore ministry team is also looking for volunteers to move furniture and household goods from the FreeStore to the clients’ new homes. We especially need young men and women to help with heavy lifting and carrying. Less-strenuous volunteer work is also available. The team meets at the church on the third Saturday of each month at 8:30 am to carpool to the FreeStore warehouse. We are usually done by 11:30 am. Contact Marty Rathje at 964-2726 if you are interested in helping.
