Each group will meet at a retail establishment for dessert once a month for four months, starting in March. Each person pays for their own food. Sign up online or at the new Connections Center located on the north side of the narthex by the church office.

Join our “Lunch and Learn” group on Wednesdays from noon until 1:30 during Lent, March 13-April 10.  The group is for all interested adults. We will read  Walk with Jesus: Stations of the Cross  by Henri Nouwen. The cost of the book is $15 and can be purchased at the Resource Center. A light meal will be provided. A free will offering will offset the cost of lunch.
Register online or at the new Connections Center located on the north side of the narthex by the church office.
Lent Evening Book Study
You are invited to join us during Lent to read and discuss the book Cross Vision: How the Crucifixion of Jesus Makes Sense of the Old Testament Violence by Greg Boyd. Help Someone in Crisis
The Grace and Mercy Fund at HTLC provides financial help in times of crisis for members and non-members. We have a significant need for funds to share with folks who need help with housing, food, gas, and other items that cause emergencies. If you would like to contribute to the fund, you can send a check and write “Grace & Mercy” in the memo. You can give online at https://www.holytrinityankeny.org/give-online.html and select “local assistance fund” from the menu. You can also use the giving station in the narthex and select “local assistance.”
Contribution Statements
2018 contribution statements were emailed in January. Those who requested paper statements should have received them last week. An electronic copy of your giving statement is available through your Realm account. Click here to access Realm .
If you do not yet have an account set up with Realm, click here.
Grace Notes Blog
“Grace Notes” blog will be a way for the pastors, staff, and leaders of this congregation to communicate about the grace we witness and share with one another and with the world.
Christians, especially Lutherans, believe that we exist; that we live; that we breathe; that we are saved by grace – the unmerited love of God revealed in Christ. Grace happens all the time, in each moment, in every place. For a specific group of us, it happens in and through the people and mission of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Ankeny, Iowa...
Holy Trinity Food Pantry
The Holy Trinity Food Pantry is in need of the following items:
  • Personal care items, including shampoo, deodorant, etc.
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Grocery bags (place in the grocery carts)
  • Recently purchased ground beef, chicken or other mainstay meats that are in 1-2 pound packages and have an easy-to-read date on them. Take them directly to the freezer in the Fellowship Hall, next to the Hearty Blessings freezer.
Please continue your generous support.  Credit/debit card donations can be placed at the Giving Station located in the Narthex.  Your monetary, food and personal care gifts are an outreach of God's love to the Ankeny community.

Remember: while we do depend on the generosity of members to supply the pantry’s needs, our food pantry is also available to any members who need help. We all need a hand sometimes.
