After several impactful years of artistic leadership, Dr. Joshua Chism will step down as Artistic Director and Conductor of Chorale Coeur d'Alene, effective December 31, 2026. We are deeply grateful for Dr. Chism's musicianship, vision, and dedication to our organization. His leadership has shaped memorable performances, strengthened the Chorale artistically, and guided us through an extraordinary 25th Anniversary Season, highlighted by our recent performance at Carnegie Hall.

Dr. Chism will continue leading the Chorale throughout our entire Fall 2026 season, including our September and Christmas concerts at the Kroc Center. We look forward to sharing these performances with our community and celebrating another outstanding season together.

We are excited to begin the search for the Chorale's next Artistic Director. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead one of the Inland Northwest's premier community choruses at a time of tremendous momentum. We seek an inspiring conductor and artistic leader who is passionate about musical excellence, collaborative leadership, and community engagement.

Registration is now open for the second annual AGO Virtual Pedagogy Conference, Oct. 8–10. This year's theme is "The Organist's Toolkit," and programming will focus on lifelong learning and the teaching methods, technology integration, resources, and repertoire to inspire organists at every stage of their careers.
