The importance of math literacy cannot be over-stated when preparing students for college and the workplace. Mastery of math essentials is important for every student's future regardless of math ability.

In this research-based informational session, Ravi Shah will focus on:
  • Which math concepts are most relevant to the workplace?
  • How can teachers help every student develop problem solving skills needed for career success?
  • What strategies can be implemented in the classroom to help connect mathematical skills to student interests?
  • What curriculum adjustments can be made for all students' skills, including helping those with mathematical learning differences and/or math anxiety?

This program is free and open to the public.
