Well it's officially Autumn and it has been a long hot Summer here in Euroa.  We closed for a few weeks in February and worked desperately to keep our garden alive. 

 I was lucky enough to duck off for a week to eat my way around Vietnam.  What an amazing and chaotic place but the food is just so fresh.  I don't think we'll be opening a Bia Hoi just yet, but you may see a bit of coriander sneak onto The Store's menu with a duck pate baguette or maybe even a twist on their banana flower salad. 

 We have some great things planned for this year along with expansion of our kitchen garden and launching our preserves line.  We will probably just bottle the excess and not commit to any specific preserves, but we'll keep you posted.

 We are taking bookings for our Autumn events outlined below and I've included a calendar of what we're organising for the colder months too.  Look out for the Mclaren Vale dinner, we're just trying to lock a date down and will email out shortly.  Cider and sausage making are both on the drawing board so keep those in mind for an early Father's day present. 

 Anyway, looking forward to seeing you all again in 2013!
