Triple C is exploring an opportunity to apply for the Ohio Election Protection Mobilizing Mini Grant, a $5,000 funding opportunity that supports nonpartisan voter education, volunteer recruitment, and election protection efforts across Ohio.
We're looking for interest from member campuses that would like to partner with Triple C on a collaborative application.
If selected, participating campuses would help recruit volunteers, promote the nonpartisan 866-OUR-VOTE voter assistance hotline, share voter education resources, and support local Election Protection activities leading up to the November election.

If there is enough interest from our network, we plan to submit a collaborative application before the July 31 deadline.

Triple C is pleased to welcome Noah Chartier (he/him) as our new Communities Thriving VISTA Leader.
Over the next year, Noah will support the growth and success of the Communities Thriving initiative by leading host site and member recruitment, providing ongoing support to AmeriCorps members and host sites, and advancing Triple C's Student Basic Needs focus area. He will also contribute to a variety of Triple C programs and initiatives throughout the year.
Noah is a second-year AmeriCorps member. He graduated from Denison University with degrees in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and Women's and Gender Studies, where he served as Student Body President.
During his first year of AmeriCorps, Noah served with City Year Columbus, supporting a sixth-grade math classroom.

Registration is now open for the Commonwealth Civic and Community Engagement Forum, taking place September 14–16, 2026, at the Gheens Foundation Lodge in Louisville, Kentucky.
Hosted by EngageKY, this retreat-style "un-conference" brings together higher education faculty and staff for three days of reflection, collaboration, and learning centered on strengthening civic and community engagement. The event also features interactive workshops, and the call for proposals has been extended through July 31.

Triple C is pleased to share an opportunity from our partners at the Community-Engaged Alliance (CEA).
Registration is now open for the 2026 Idea to Action (I2A) Incubator, a hands-on professional development experience designed to help teams develop, refine, and strengthen community-engaged initiatives.
As part of our partnership, members of The Alliance (ACCE)—including Triple C members—are eligible for discounted registration rates to participate in Day One on October 2, 2026, either virtually or in person at Butler University.
The program features five interactive workshops focused on moving community-engaged ideas into action.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Transform Mid-Atlantic (TMA) Service-Learning & Civic Engagement (SLCE) Conference, Co-Creating Change: Collaborative Community Partnerships, taking place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at American University in Washington, D.C.
This day-long conference brings together students, faculty, staff, and community partners to explore innovative approaches to service-learning, civic engagement, and community-engaged scholarship.
Through sessions focused on authentic campus-community partnerships, attendees will gain new ideas, strengthen collaborations, and connect with colleagues committed to advancing the public purpose of higher education.
Early bird registration is available through August 9, 2026.

Applications are now open for the Fall 2026 Ohio Next Generation Election Administration Pipeline, a 14-week, nonpartisan fellowship for students and early-career Ohioans interested in election administration and public service.
Participants gain hands-on experience with Ohio’s election system through virtual seminars, direct engagement with election officials, poll worker service on Election Day, and professional networking opportunities. Fellows who complete program requirements receive a $1,000 stipend.
Applications are due July 21, 2026 at 12 p.m.

Transform Mid-Atlantic (TMA) is seeking a Director of the AmeriCorps VISTA Program to lead its long-standing initiative supporting anti-poverty efforts through campus-community partnerships across the Mid-Atlantic region.
The full-time position oversees a network of approximately 30 AmeriCorps VISTA members serving at colleges, universities, and community organizations, while helping strengthen partnerships, expand program impact, and advance TMA's mission of social justice, civic engagement, and community development.
The position is remote, with the TMA office hosted at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, and periodic travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
