9/11 Day of Service Funding Available for
Triple C Member Campuses

Triple C is pleased to once again offer funding for campus-based 9/11 Day of Service projects through support from 9/11 Day and AmeriCorps, in partnership with the Alliance for Campus Community Engagement (ACCE).
Triple C member campuses may apply for grants of $1,250 for projects engaging 50–100 volunteers or $2,500 for projects involving more than 100 volunteers. Funding supports student-led service initiatives that honor the spirit of unity, remembrance, and community impact on September 11.
Application deadline: June 26, 2026. Eligible campuses must be Triple C members in good standing for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Triple C, All Voting is Local, and Fair Elections Center’s Campus Vote Project invite Triple C member campuses to join a virtual Student Voter Engagement Roundtable on Tuesday, June 23 at 12:00 p.m.
This follow-up conversation to the spring roundtable will provide campuses across Ohio an opportunity to reconnect, share strategies and experiences related to student voter engagement, and prepare for the upcoming academic year. The session is designed to encourage open discussion and will not be recorded. Registration is required.

Triple C, EngageKY, and The University of Akron's EX[L] Center are seeking an AmeriCorps VISTA member for the 2026–27 service year.
This 12-month position will support community engagement initiatives, student success programs, and campus-community partnerships in Akron. Benefits include a living allowance, professional development opportunities, and an end-of-service education award or cash stipend.

Triple C is pleased to share an opportunity from our partners at the Community-Engaged Alliance (CEA).
Registration is now open for the 2026 Idea to Action (I2A) Incubator, a hands-on professional development experience designed to help teams develop, refine, and strengthen community-engaged initiatives.
As part of our partnership, members of The Alliance (ACCE)—including Triple C members—are eligible for discounted registration rates to participate in Day One on October 2, 2026, either virtually or in person at Butler University.
The program features five interactive workshops focused on moving community-engaged ideas into action.

The Commonwealth Community and Civic Engagement Forum will convene September 14–17, 2026 at the Gheens Foundation Lodge in Louisville, Kentucky, bringing together higher education faculty and professionals from across Kentucky and beyond.
Hosted by EngageKY and partner institutions, the retreat-style “un-conference” is designed to foster reflection, dialogue, and collaboration around community and civic engagement in higher education.
The forum is currently accepting proposals for interactive workshop sessions. Submissions should prioritize active engagement, peer-to-peer learning, and practical applications that participants can bring back to their institutions. The deadline to submit proposals is July 15.

Transform Mid-Atlantic (TMA) has extended the proposal submission deadline for its 2026 Service-Learning & Civic Engagement (SLCE) Conference, Co-Creating Change: Collaborative Community Partnerships, to June 21, 2026.
Hosted by American University in Washington, D.C., on October 17, 2026, the conference brings together practitioners, scholars, community partners, and students committed to advancing service-learning, civic engagement, and community-engaged scholarship.
TMA encourages individuals and organizations to share innovative ideas, research, and practices that strengthen campus-community partnerships and create meaningful change. Those interested in presenting now have additional time to submit a proposal for consideration.
| | Applications Open: Ohio Next Generation Election Administration Pipeline | | | |
Applications are now open for the Fall 2026 Ohio Next Generation Election Administration Pipeline, a 14-week, nonpartisan fellowship for students and early-career Ohioans interested in election administration and public service.
Participants gain hands-on experience with Ohio’s election system through virtual seminars, direct engagement with election officials, poll worker service on Election Day, and professional networking opportunities. Fellows who complete program requirements receive a $1,000 stipend.
Applications are due July 21, 2026 at 12 p.m.

Wittenberg University’s Susan Hirt Hagen Center for Civic and Urban Engagement is hiring an Associate Director of Community Partnerships and Outreach.
The role supports community-based learning and civic engagement initiatives that connect students, faculty, staff, and community partners to advance the common good. The Hagen Center emphasizes collaboration, equity, reciprocity, curiosity, and excellence in its work to foster engaged citizenship and strengthen campus-community partnerships.
The position is full-time and based in Springfield, Ohio, and is open until filled.

Join an upcoming webinar on June 24 at 2 p.m. titled “Thinking Outside of the Clipboard: Creative Approaches to Engaging Communities about Voting.”
The session will explore innovative, arts-based and community-centered approaches to voter engagement that move beyond traditional outreach methods.
Presenters will share examples of creative programming that has energized civic participation, including initiatives like flash mobs, voter line serenades, arts partnerships, game-based engagement, and participatory budgeting models.

Campus Takeover is a nationwide initiative supporting nonpartisan student voter engagement through celebratory programming during the Civic Holiday season.

Call for Proposals Open for NSVS 2026
November 18–20
The 2026 National Student Vote Summit (NSVS) will take place November 18–20 at Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona, and the Call for Session and Poster Proposals is now open.
Hosted by the Students Learn Students Vote Coalition, the summit brings together students, campus professionals, nonprofit leaders, and election officials committed to strengthening nonpartisan student voter engagement.
Proposal submissions are due by Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
