Triple C and Partners Honor 9/11 Through Student Service

Triple C recently awarded 9/11 Day of Remembrance Campus Service Grants to Denison University and The University of Akron.

These $2,500 grants supported student-led service projects honoring the September 11 National Day of Service and were part of a regional IKONC collaboration that engaged more than 6,500 students across 11 states.

The University of Akron welcomed Stephanie Dodd, Executive Director of Triple C, to campus for a day of reflection and service. The visit included conversations on civic engagement and how UA continues to be a driving force for positive change in the Akron community.

With support from 9/11 Day, AmeriCorps, Triple C, and Community-Engaged Alliance, these projects helped students turn remembrance into meaningful action.

Updates on the impact at both campuses will be shared in the coming weeks.

Participate in Triple C's Initiative to Support

Student Basic Needs Efforts

Triple C is offering member campuses and Ohio community colleges a no-cost opportunity to raise direct support for their student basic needs initiatives through a new partnership with SpotFund and FAST.

We’ll create a custom fundraising page for your campus—at no charge and with no platform fees—so you can easily connect donors, alumni, parents, and community supporters to your Student Resource Center or other basic needs efforts.

This statewide campaign is a simple, high-impact way to bring in vital resources as students return to campus this fall. See what a sample page looks like here.
