Last month, our Carmel Counseling Center teamed up with Silent Images for a Community Conversation on Mental Health to talk about Trauma and Suicide. We're continuing the conversations on mental health the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
Join us tomorrow (Feb 19) from 6:15-7:30pm in in Room A219 to screen and discuss Silent Images' short film:  Anxiety

Our Next Midweek Serve- February 26
We'll gather in the Worship Center, next Wednesday, Feb 26, at 6:15pm for a family-friendly on-campus outreach benefiting Special Needs ministry partners.
Senior Adult Gathering
Our Senior Adult Gathering  will be on Sunday, March 1, from 12:30-1:30pm in Uptown Auditorium. Come meet some of the new staff and learn about opportunities to connect with other senior adults at Carmel through various upcoming events and travel. Cost is $5 per person for a catered lunch.  Register by Feb 26  here.

2020 Mission Trips
Be part of what God is doing around the world!  Check out the upcoming trips  to Ukraine, Guyana and Peru and join a  trip team!

Praise for so many who stepped in to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our neighbors impacted by the tornado on Feb 6.  The stories of encouragement, love, hard work and true demonstration of Christ's love have been happening all around our community.   God is at work!  Watch here and  see some of the ways Carmel has been able to bless our neighbors.

Praise for our 8th Grade Student Ministry leaders and students who facilitated a festive Valentine's Day celebration with BINGO with our neighbors down the street at Carrington Place! 

Looking Ahead...
Autism Training - Monday, March 16
We've invited Nancy Nestor with the Autism Society of NC to train our volunteers on how to better understand and work with preschoolers, children, teens and adults with autism. If someone you love is autistic, come join us for this time of learning! Find details and registration here
Disaster Response Training
On April 17 and 18, Carmel will host the North Carolina Baptists On Mission Disaster Response training to better equip our church family and community to respond and reach those in need during a natural disaster.  More information is available here.
