Today as I write this newsletter is the first day of Fall. Hard to believe with the temperature still hitting the high 70s! And yet, there are light breezes, balmy evenings, and pumpkin flavored everything: all the usual harbingers of the approaching fall season. Although the changes are subtle, I still look forward to them every year as we transition into a new phase, full of holiday plans and community.

Speaking of community, the Friends of the Encinitas Library (FOEL) celebrated their members with an ice cream social at JoJo’s creamery on September 9th. All Things Membership

Hey marvelous members - it’s Member Referral Season. Encourage a friend (or friends!) to join the Friends this fall and you’ll both be entered in a raffle for one of our popular boat totes.
