Fill'er Up Food Drive
The City of Stow is supporting the Harvest for Hunger Campaign with a Fill'er Up Food Drive on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 10am-2pm at Stow City Hall Parking Lot. Drop off your food items (suggested 8 items listed on flyer) or MONETARY DONATIONS HERE!
When every $1 donated helps provide enough food for 4 meals, we can make a significant impact in the lives of our hungry neighbors. Together, we can be the difference between hunger and hope.

Courts are lined with both tennis and pickleball courts and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. To play pickleball on the courts, roll-in, mobile nets are used.

Teaching Our Youth Safety
Registration Opens April 3, 2023
Safety Town is a safety education program for children who will be entering Kindergarten in the Fall. Safety Town students are taught topics such as: fire safety, safety belts, pedestrian safety, bike safety, bus safety, personal safety, and playground safety. Stow Youth Services coordinates this program along with two teachers and teen volunteers.

Bow Wow Beach
Opening March 22!
Woof Woof!
We can hear the dogs barking now to get into BOW WOW BEACH! Stow's award winning dog park will open for the season soon (weather permitting). Visit our website to sign up for Bow Wow Beach notifications of opening and special closures.
Initially, the water will not be available for dog washing due to the potential for more freezing temperatures.
We look forward to another furry~friendly~fun time this year!

Bulldog Bags Fundraiser

Second Annual Buses for Bags event to support Bulldog Bags, Inc. Each team will attempt to pull a bus 40 feet to see who earns bragging rights as the quickest! Teams cost $250 and any team that signs up; each individual on the team will receive a shirt.

Parks Board Hard At Work For the Community | |

Over the past year-plus, the board has assisted the city administration in undertaking and completing a Parks & Recreation Master Plan, and a Feasibility Study for a multi-generational community recreation center.
As a result of this master plan and its public input process, the City engaged a consulting team to complete a feasibility study for a multi-purpose, multi-generational indoor facility. The feasibility study has provided the City and the Parks and Recreation Board with key data and information on the market and demand for services, operational costs, and the capital investment needed for potential construction. The results of the study will now assist the City and the Parks and Recreation Board in determining the next step for a community/recreation center for Stow.
The Parks Board is also assisting the administration in prioritizing parks and facilities capital improvements projects for 2023, and is working on a much broader capital improvements plan for parks and facilities for the next ten years. There is much work to do, and these dedicated individuals have committed to their time and effort to get it done!
