The FX television series "Fargo" will be filming on Corron Road today and tomorrow!
Filming very close to Historic Corron Farm
"Fargo" is described as a black comedy-crime drama anthology television series inspired by the 1996 film. Chris Rock stars in the upcoming season of "Fargo." The show's fourth season is set in 1950s Kansas City.
"It seems like our show likes the area," said Alex Hughes, an assistant location manager for the series, in talking about the upcoming shoot and the filming that occurred in Elgin.

He didn't disclose whether any of the show's stars will be part of the film shot. The upcoming scene on Corron Road was originally supposed to be shot in December.

"A few things changed with our schedule," Hughes said. "Thankfully, the county, the police department and everybody has been understanding."

The shoot might wrap up sooner than planned. It will go on rain or shine.
"It's quite likely that we will be finished by 2 a.m. or 3 a.m., but in the interest of not creating an issue for the police department, we planned for 5 a.m. just in case something happened and we needed more time," Hughes said.
Corron Road Closure
Corron Road between Silver Glen and McDonald roads will be closed from noon Tuesday through 5 a.m. Wednesday to facilitate the filming of a driving scene for season four of "Fargo," set to premiere in April.

Any questions or concerns can be directed to Kurt Nika, Kane County Division of Transportation's Chief of Traffic Operations and Permitting, at 630-584-1170.

Those hoping to see a glimpse of the filming will likely be disappointed. The set will be closed during the filming.
