Message from the Chair

What will healthcare look like in 2050? Dr. Rueben Devlin, the former CEO of the Humber River Hospital (which bills itself as “Ontario’s first digital hospital”) asked this question at the OCFP Renew conference in September. This is also the challenge I put to the panel for the Departmental Assembly at our Faculty Retreat. Marie-Hélène Chomienne, Doug Manuel, Jay Mercer and Liz Muggah will tackle this question with attention to health care delivery, teaching and research. Are we preparing our learners for this future? 2018 Years of Service Award Recipients

Congratulations to our 2018 Years of Service Award winners, who are recognised for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 35 and 45 years of service to the Department of Family Medicine. Recipients will be acknowledged at a ceremony at the Faculty Retreat tomorrow night, October 19.

Navigating Recreational Cannabis Legalization
