Dear Rondout Families and Faculty,

We had a terrific week filled with special events, a preview of summer and preparing for the graduation for the Class of 2022. It was a treat to hold our National Junior Honor Society Ceremony this week and our Spring Band Concert in person.

We look forward to having the graduation in person for our 8th grade families with limited tickets to allow us to have adequate space for seating. Each family will be able to bring 6 guests and the ceremony will not be open to the public. The COVID rates continue to rise and we hope to get through the end of the year with minimal impact.

Don't forget the parade of graduates on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The graduates will drive through the neighborhoods. The parade route is available below.

This Sunday we will post the messages to the graduates honoring the members of the Class of 2022. Monday the Class of 2022 will be attending the Ropes Course in the Lake Geneva area for their final team building adventure. Mrs. Kerrigan and Mr. Williams will be the chaperones for this special activity.

Today’s band breakfast was prepared by Ms. Slavin from our Kitchen Team and Ms. Davis. A pancake breakfast was a great treat to celebrate the hard work of the band this year. Their final performance will be at the graduation on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

Next Saturday, May 21, 2022, will be a family planting day from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. sponsored by the Green Club. Families of Green Club members along with any Rondout families may stop in to plant the vegetable garden. Children must be accompanied by an adult family member. If a family is bringing children for another family, we will need notification in writing since we are not requiring a permission slip to attend.

We have ten wonderful days left of this school year. Due to graduation, we will not be having our parent coffee on Wednesday May 18, 2022. Our last coffee will be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. The zoom link will be sent out as a reminder that day.

We are working hard to finish strong and know that everyone is looking forward to the summer break.  Take care…be safe and enjoy the last days of the school year.

Until next
