Ramona High School Tournament This Saturday
Congratulations, Vikings, on winning Tournament Sweepstakes for best in show last week in Simi Valley, as well as sweepstakes for High Music, 3rd place for percussion, and 3rd place for auxiliary! This week's competition is out at Ramona High School in Riverside.
Check your inbox for a “school bus” email a few days before the competition with detailed instructions, call times, step-off times, and packing lists.

Our November 6 Band Parents Association meeting has been cancelled due to the midterm elections. Contact us at samohiband@gmail.com if you'd like to attend the BPA Executive Board meeting on Monday, November 5. 
WIND ENSEMBLE ROME TOUR
Payment Due Tuesday; Passport Copies Due
Our second payment of $1,000 is due this Tuesday, October 30! There are two ways to pay:

Please submit a copy of your student's passport. More info can be found here. Copies are officially due by November 30, but the sooner the better!
Planning for Bands at the Broad Is Underway
Our 7th annual Bands at the Broad concert and fundraiser is coming up on Tuesday, February 5. This enchanted evening features wine, cupcakes, a silent auction, and a special performance by Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble in the beautiful Broad Theater.
Bands at the Broad helps raise money for scholarships for this year's Wind Ensemble Rome tour and next year's Wind Symphony tour. We would like each family to bring in two auction items and at least one bottle of wine valued at $30 or more. Help make this the best Bands at the Broad yet!
