One strategy we recommend using when working on your lesson plan is pulling from your Curriculum. Now, if you have a self-created curriculum where you’ve aligned your lesson plan with the Early Childhood Standards, you may be asking, “What am I pulling from?” This is where we can explore the work of Supplemental Curriculum.
Supplemental Curriculum is content that assists in teaching the lesson, additional activities that just help solidify concepts in the young minds. There are a great number of fantastic Supplemental Curriculums out there, but here are just a few free Supplemental Curriculums we recommend:
GoNoodle: GoNoodle is a fun website more meant to be the activity that encourages learning through movement. They recommend the program for Preschool ages and up, and the subject areas cover a multitude of topics.

GoNAPSACC: GoNAPSACC is a website more meant for the teacher as it provides trainings and activities to be worked into lesson plans. GoNAPSACC focuses on Child Nutrition, Oral Health, Physical Activity, and more!

PBS Learning Media: PBS Learning Media is the website that pulled the educational pieces from the individual episodes of our favorite PBS Shows! There are many activities, lesson plans, and resources available at this site!
