Please, join us for worship this Sunday as we study Psalm 22 where David utters the words of anguish that Jesus later utters while hanging on the cross: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
We have titled this sermon series, In His Presence, yet the focus at the beginning of Psalm 22 is on the feeling of God’s absence. We all go through difficult times in life, and many of us have gone through excruciating times of anguish. In those moments, it really does feel like you are all alone, and that God is nowhere to be found. Does this sound like the character of God that Scripture reveals to us? Let’s gather together for worship and consider how suffering and sorrow can give way to praise and worship.
