MVBC Family Happenings
With everything going on in the world today, the words which keep coming to my mind are, “unprecedented times.” However, I ask myself, have there ever been “precedent” times? I have to believe that in the first century, when the church was undergoing persecution, there were those who believed they were living in unprecedented times. Whether it’s the 1st century or the 21st century, Christians are called to live in light of God’s rule over His creation. I do not know how the events of the past week and months have impacted you directly, but let me encourage you that God is on the throne. Please join us this Sunday as we worship the King! We will be continuing our study in First Corinthians. If you desire to read ahead, please focus on 1 Corinthians 11:2-16.
Join us for one of our two Sunday morning in-person services at 8:45 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. or watch online at 10:30 a.m. here. Please note: Children's Church will not be available this Sunday. On Wednesdays, join us for our in-person Wednesday Bible Study at 6:45 p.m. in the Chapel. Seating is limited for each of these in-person services, so be sure to sign up at www.mvbc.org/sign-up! The 10:30 a.m. Sunday service, Children's Ministries videos, Adult Bible Study on Wednesdays, and Teen Life, will still be available online for those worshiping from home as well.
Life Groups resume this Sunday, January 10, for our winter session! We have Life Groups which meet in person and virtually. If you have any questions about Life Groups you may contact Pastor Joe Bouchoc. Join a group here.
The 2021 giving envelopes will be available for pickup in the MPR on Sunday or you can call the Church Office to come pick up yours during office hours.
Sanctity of Life Sunday is January 17. Please watch for more information coming on this very important ministry opportunity.
You can still worship through giving from home. You may either mail checks to P.O. Box 606, Nashua, NH, 03061 or donate online here. To view giving information for last week and a summary for 2020, click here.
