This Sunday, we will begin engaging with the many questions asked during our Grace and Truth Discussion focused on “Church Leadership and Decision Making.” As I have been reading through the questions, it is a bit overwhelming to figure out how to satisfactorily answer all the questions. I hope I am able to answer your questions to your satisfaction. If not, please consider setting up a time when we can meet face-to-face to discuss the gaps in my answers. I will attempt to group the questions into categories so this series of sermons will not last for too long. I believe the best place to start is to simply answer the questions, “Why elders? Why now?” My intent is to briefly answer these two questions from my personal perspective and then spend the majority of our time studying New Testament passages on the topic. I hope you will join us for worship this Sunday!

The next session for the Beginnings Class begins this Sunday at 8:45 a.m. in the Chapel and the Community Class will begin this Wednesday, June 22, at 6:45 p.m. in Room 110. Sign up for either here.

Thursdays, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Keys Field (Milford), we need helpers for crafts, games, snacks, and puppets for our weeknight park outreach. We will have training for puppeteers available on Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. Sign up here.
