New Life in the Holy Spirit
Mission of Divine Mercy
Monastery - Sanctuary - Retreat Center
"Mary Most Holy,
since Pentecost you have kept watch with the Church
as she prays for the Holy Spirit:
remain with us at the center of our extraordinary Upper Room."
St. John Paul (May 22, 1999)
On the Far Side of Each Cross...
We Find Newness of Life in the Holy Spirit
"There is no evil that Christ does not face with us.
There is no enemy that Christ has not already conquered.
There is no cross to bear that Christ has not already borne for us,
and does not bear with us.
And on the far side of every cross we find the newness of life
in the Holy Spirit,
that new life which will reach its fulfillment in the resurrection.
This is our faith.
This is our witness before the world."
St. John Paul (October 8,1995)
Bill Enters Noviciate
This Sunday, on the Feast of Pentecost, Bill Roderique, who has been with us discerning his vocation since last October, will enter MDM as a novice.
There will be a brief ceremony at the end of Mass. Bill's future role will be that of Consecrated Layman, our first.
(Maria Felicitas is a Consecrated Laywoman.)
Please keep Bill in your prayers. And please join us in welcoming him on Sunday.
