Family Faith Formation Children Welcome for Mass at Assumption

Walking Tour of Abolitionist Place

Please join the Oratory's Social Justice Action Committee (SJAC) for a neighborhood walking tour sponsored by the Friends of Abolitionist Place. Marking the fourth anniversary of the Landmark designation for 227 Abolitionist Place this walk focuses on the abolitionist, suffragist and civil rights history of downtown Brooklyn. The life of Mama Joy, who lived at 227 Duffield Street and was a frequent St. Boniface visitor, will be remembered as well. Interested attendees can meet in the rear of St. Boniface after the 11:15am Mass. Questions? Please email stbonifacesjc@gmail.com.

Note: If you are attending Mass and this program, you may want to pack a light snack.

Sunday, February 2, 12:30pm, 227 Abolitionist Place, one block from St. Boniface on Duffield Street.

The feast day of St. Blaise is on Monday, February 3, 2025. After the 8am and 12:10pm Masses, you will have the opportunity to have your throat blessed. St. Blaise is the patron of ailments of the throat.

We will need to have them by Sunday, February 23, so we can burn the palms the following week (March 2) after the 9:30 am Mass at Assumption.

Save the Date: March 3

Volunteer Thank You!
