CFM 87th Annual Convention Recap
The Conservation Federation of Missouri hosted its 87th Annual Convention virtually and in person at the Lake of the Ozarks this past week, February 21-26. We hosted ten virtual Natural Resource Breakout Sessions to discuss important conservation issues and approve resolution drafts. Ten resolutions made it out of the breakout sessions, all of which were passed at our General Assembly meeting. We had a successful in-person event, starting off with the Conservation Achievement Awards ceremony on Friday night. CFM honored fourteen individuals and organizations that made a tremendous impact on conservation in Missouri in 2022. To view all award winners, view our website HERE. We also had socials for CFM Life Members and Young Professionals, a luncheon for Affiliate Members, educational seminars, and our Banquet Dinner with keynote speaker Governor Jay Nixon. Thank you to everyone who attended our Convention and helped CFM continue our goal to be the voice for Missouri outdoors.
