Ballot for CFM Board

Election is Set!

CFM is excited to announce our nominees for it's 2024 board elections. Members will be able to cast their vote in January, but in the mean time you can check out all the nominees on our website HERE. Each person has a short bio and video introducing themselves. Members will be electing one vice president, two executive committee members, one NWF Alternate Representative, and four at large-board members. Our board members are an essential part to both the present and future success of our organization.

CFM's Resolution Process Starts Now!

Every year CFM accepts resolution proposals from its members, which are voted upon by the membership at our General Assembly meeting at Convention. These resolutions help CFM take stances on important legislative issues, as well as keeping us up to date on the issues most important to our members. Ginny Wallace, co-chair of the Resolution Committee, wrote an article that goes into more thorough detail on why resolutions are important, what the timeline is, and how to get involved. MEGA RAFFLE NOW OPEN!

CFM's is excited to announce the start of our 2023 Mega Raffle! This year includes four great prizes, including an all inclusive trip for 2 to Big Cedar Lodge, a $1000 gift card to Bass Pro, and 18 slabs of expertly smoked pork ribs and a cooler. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased on our website HERE or by mailing a check to our office. Winners will be drawn on Friday, Dec. 1.

Missouri Grasslands Summit:

Save the Date!

CFM is partnering with MDC and NRCS to bring you the Missouri Grasslands Summit, a three day event dedicated to sharing knowledge and collaborating on grasslands management within the state. The Summit will be held April 9-11, 2024 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City, MO. Stay tuned for more information on the agenda and registration. Interested in sponsoring the event? Hunters Harvest 12 Black Bears this Season

During this year's Black Bear season, Oct. 16-25, hunters harvested 12 bears. Over 5,000 people applied for the 400 available permits. To learn more about MDC's Black Bear season and the results, visit their website HERE.
