Your Ticket Purchase

To clear up some confusion on our event platform, the $40 Ticket for current CFM members includes ALL events at Convention except the Young Professionals Trivia Night which is an additional $10 for any person between the ages of 21-40.

The $70 Ticket for non-members includes a CFM annual membership in addition to everything outlined in the $40 Ticket. Invite your friends and family to attend!
We are here to help!

If you need assistance at any time before or during Convention, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can email us at info@confedmo.org or call the CFM Office at 573-634-2322. We can help you with your registration, bidding, raffle, accessibility, and maybe even audio/video!
Have you registered for Convention?

If not, what are you waiting for? Our 85th Annual Convention is coming up, March 1-6th, and will be all virtual. We will come together to pass resolutions that serve as CFM's stance on conservation issues, hear updates from conservation professionals, attend Natural Resource Breakouts, and spend an evening together awarding Missouri's top conservationists. Our virtual convention will also include our favorite auctions and raffles, so there is something for everyone. Registration ends February 26th at 5:00 p.m.
House Joint Resolution - 55

HJR 55, which will be heard in the House Conservation and Natural Resources Committee Monday, February 22. This is another shot taken against Missouri's profoundly successful conservation heritage by seeking to politicize the Conservation Commission, tearing down the one thing that makes the Missouri model of conservation and the envy of the nation.

Please consider submitting a virtual testimony in opposition to this resolution before Monday at 5:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Business Partner Spotlight:
Burgers' Smokehouse

Just west of Jefferson City on Highway 50 lies Burgers' Smokehouse, a family-owned and operated manufacturer of country ham, bacon, and other specialty smoked meats and foods. They began in 1927 when founder E.M. Burger started selling country hams to his neighbors and friends. Today, anyone can order online and ship any of their products anywhere in the U.S. for FREE! Visit their website to view their products including a full line of barbecue meats. See if the products from this Missouri-based company fit your occasion.
Governor's Youth Turkey Hunt

The Governors Youth Turkey Hunt applications are due March 31st. This hunt is a cooperative effort between Governor Mike Parson, the Conservation Federation of Missouri, National Wild Turkey Federation, the Missouri Department of Conservation, state legislators, and a host of private landowners and other volunteers. In the spirit of what the Governors Youth Hunt represents, qualified applicants should be youths ages 10 to 15 that, ideally, are interested in giving hunting a try but have not yet had the opportunity.
They're hiring!

Quail Forever and Pheasants Forever in Missouri has TWO openings for Farm Bill Wildlife Biologists, one in Houston and another in Richmond!
These positions are part of a collaborative partnership between Pheasants Forever, Quail Forever, National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, U.S. Department of Agriculture-Natural Resources Conservation Service, and other partners to increase technical assistance capacity for advancing the implementation of the Working Lands for Wildlife program.
Ozark Outdoors

Purchase this book by Dr. Mark Morgan, and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Conservation Leadership Corps (CLC)!

Hunting and fishing are engrained in American culture. However, the true value of outdoor sports is far greater than retail sales, annual licenses and permits, or the number of participants. It's about the experience. Folklore is a powerful way to stabilize cultural practices and traditions. Conversations could begin at home, the workplace, or in the classroom, so start one today!

The book is available online in the CFM Store!
If you witness or suspect a wildlife violation, report it to your local conservation agent or call the toll-free number 1-800-392-1111. You may remain anonymous and you may ask to be considered for a reward if you wish.
