MORE DETAILS TO COME...

EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER

We had a wonderful week in preschool! We culminated our study of Winter.

The 3 year old classroom discovered animals that live in the arctic, continued using their large motor muscles for winter  inspired sports, and worked on their fine motor skills through a variety of winter inspired activities.

The four year old classroom, enhanced their graphing skills as they surveyed each other and the church staff about groundhogs day. They used their scientific skills as they worked with flashlights to make shadows. In literacy the children worked hard at practicing syllables, rhyming words,   symmetry, and things like "how many are hiding." In religious studies the children discovered the baptism of Jesus.

During chapel, Mr. Duval led us in songs, story and dance revolved around the baptism of Jesus. He also showed the children the baptismal fount and explained its importance!
