Praise the LORD, for he is good; sing praise to our God, for he is gracious; it is fitting to praise him. The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem; the dispersed of Israel he gathers. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He tells the number of the stars; he calls each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; to his wisdom there is no limit. The LORD sustains the lowly; the wicked he casts to the ground.

Psalm 147

From Our Pastor

Dear Parishioners and Friends,

Catholic Schools week brought plenty of fun learning activities for our students at Saint Kateri School.

With a supportive principal, teachers and staff, our parish school seeks to establish strong academic learning opportunities that are firmly rooted in Catholic faith practices and traditions.

Any prospective parent or grandparent is welcome to stop by our school office for tours and registration information for next fall. Before and after school care opportunities are also available!

We welcome our Scout Troops this Sunday at the 11am Mass at Christ the King. We have two scouts receiving their "Parvuli Dei" Awards.

Ash Wednesday and the season of Lent will begin on February 14th. Details are posted in the bulletin this week.

May God bless you,

Fr. Gonyo

The next Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend is planned for February 23-25, 2024 at the Notre Dame Retreat House in Canandaigua, NY. Register online at

The Worldwide Marriage Encounter (WWME) weekend teaches communication techniques such as active listening, listening with the heart and empathy towards your spouse's feelings. It is based on the sacrament of Holy Matrimony and expresses the importance of love in union and encourages this love to be taken out into the world in various ministries. It helps serve God by strengthening couples and their families in the Church.

The Marriage Encounter gives busy couples much needed time together to focus on each other and deepen their communication. After the Experience, couples often return to their life and families refreshed with renewed commitment to each other.

Application fee is $100.
